Ακόμα ένα ξενοδοχείο στη συλλογή The Luxury Collection® Hotels & Resorts προσθέτει η Marriot, το The Meixi Lake Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Changsha, μαζί με τα υπόλοιπα πολυτελή ξενοδοχεία της στην Κίνα, τα Astor Hotel in Tianjin, Twelve at Hengshan ,The Hongta Hotel Shanghai, The Royal Begonia Resort, The Azure Qiantang Hangzhou, The Castle Hotel και The Grand Mansion.

Το Meixi Lake Hotel είναι ένα σοφιστικέ, πολυτελές ξενοδοχείο, το οποίο συνδυάζει τη κινέζικη κουλτούρα και ιστορία 3000 ετών με το σύγχρονο κόσμο. Στους 52 ορόφους του, διαθέτει 310 δωμάτια, ανάμεσα στα οποία και 6 υπερπολυτελείς σουίτες, spa και fitness center, πισίνες,  και εστιατόρια. Το design του ξενοδοχείου έχει εμπνευστεί από το κινέζικο ποίημα “Journey to the Immortal Peach Garden” του Tao Yuanming, ένα ουτοπικό ποίημα για τοπικούς θρύλους.

Την εξωτερική αρχιτεκτονική ανέλαβε η εταιρία Callison RTKL, τον εσωτερικό σχεδιασμό οι interior designers της HBA, ενώ τους χώρους των εστιατορίων και των meeting rooms σχεδίασε η Rockwell Group Madrid.
